Chanting is an opening of the heart and letting go of the mind and thoughts—a way of being in the present moment.
In Yoga Nidra you leave the Waking state, go through the Dreaming state and into the Deep Sleep state…yet fully awake. Just as chanting can be a way of opening to the present moment, so can the practice of Yoga Nidra.
